UGC invites proposals from universities to run skill development courses...
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited proposals from universities and colleges to start courses on skill development.
The proposals are to be submitted by 31st March, 2014 following which the UGC will provide financial support to run these courses.
The UGC circular states, “universities/colleges recognized under section 12(B) of the UGC Act for supporting courses under the scheme of Community Colleges for universities and colleges.”
“Assistance will be available for running two courses in various trades for skill development of students who have passed their 10+2 examination,” says UGC circular...
